Rules and Regulations

  • The School hours are from 09.40 am to 4.00 pm daily. The students should reach the school in time to attend the morning assembly.
  • The school uniform and identity card to be worn daily, except on their 'Birthdays'. Cleanliness in person and clothes is expected of every student.
  • Students should be simple and modest in their dress. Gold ornaments should not be worn.
  • The school does not encourage children to be taken early or brought late to the school. In case it is unavoidable, the parent must make a note to the class teacher. While taking a child early from the school, a permission note must be collected from the class teacher/The principal. Child should be escorted to and from the school by authorised person only.
  • Parents are requested to inform the school if the child is unwell. Students suffering from contagious or infections diseases, parents are advised to keep the child at home.
  • Leave note is required whenever child is absent.
  • Irregular attendance, neglecting school work, discourtesy towards teachers, indiscipline, insubordination or any such act that affects the discipline or peaceful atmosphere of the school will be viewed seriously.
  • Students should be careful not to throw any paper etc. on the floor and in the school premises. The waste paper basket should be used for that purpose.
  • Students should not play in the class rooms and on corridors.
  • Students are responsible for the safe custody of their own books or belongings.
  • Students from one class are not allowed to go to other class rooms during the interval.
  • Students are not allowed to run in corridors. While moving along the corridors and while climbing up and down the stair- case they are expected to KEEP LEFT.
  • Any damage to school property or that of other students will have to be made good by the erring students.
  • Any change in address of students should be informed to the school authorities.
  • Parents are requested to send wholesome and healthy lunch in unbreakable containers, along with a towel.
  • Parents are not allowed to meet the teachers during school hours. They may meet the teachers only after the class hours.
  • Parents are expected to check their children's dairy daily and to co-operate with the school authorities. Parents are requested to encourage their children to take part in all co-curricular and extracurricular activities in school.
  • Parents are requested to take any complaint direct to the authorities and not to the class teacher.
  • There will be a parents meeting after every terminal examination and parents are requested to meet the class teacher to receive the progress report.
  • Promotion to the higher classes will be strictly on the basis of the child's performance.
  • Parents/Guardian should meet headmistress once in two months to find out the progress of the children. Feel free to talk about anything regarding the child with the Principal or the respective teacher after consulting the Principal.
  • Verbal requests through messengers or students or themselves to allow them to go home before the school gets over will not be complied with.
  • Perfect discipline should be maintained during tests. Any malpractice will be dealt with seriously.
  • Discourtesy and disrespect to the members of the school staff in any form will be viewed seriously and those responsible for such misbehaviour are liable to be dismissed.
  • Promotion to higher classes and issue of conduct certificates are matters absolutely within the discretion of the Principal.
  • All students should be particularly careful not to throw any papers, seeds, sweet wrappers etc. on the floor or in the compound.
  • Strict discipline is to be maintained in the class room and no one should remain in the class room during interval.
  • Every pupils shall have at least 80% of attendance in an academic year. In any case of sickness, must produce a medical certificate.
  • Term fees have to be paid on the fixed date in three instalments, on or before June 10, September 10 and January 10. Defaulters should pay the fee with the fine.
  • Identity Card: A well laminated Identity card is issued to every student. Students are required to posses their ID cards in the school and outside the school campus, representing for any activity, competitions in curricular and extra curricular events, sports and games, expeditions and tours.
  • Excursions are part of education. Encourage your child to avail of this facility as it develops team spirit, co-operation and leadership among the children.
  • The school expects your whole hearted participation in all the school functions and work shops conducted by the school in the interest of your child.
  • Go through the diary daily: see that it is brought to school everyday. It is an excellent channel of communication.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • Parents are requested to read and observe all these rules.
